De Ann Letourneau

De Ann Letourneau is the Concertmaster of the Las Vegas Philharmonic and stands as one of the few female Concertmasters in the United States. A "sensationally vibrant" performer (Duluth News Tribune), she also serves as Concertmaster for the Nevada Ballet Theatre and Opera Las Vegas. Her elite career officially began at age 16 when she became the youngest full-time member ever to win a position with the Duluth-Superior Symphony. Following this early success, she was invited into the studio of the legendary Dorothy DeLay and went on to study with world-renowned pedagogues including Josef Gingold and David Cerone.

Her versatility as a leader has made her a fixture in both the classical and contemporary music worlds. Beyond her symphonic work, she has served as Concertmaster for Adele (Weekends with Adele) and spent over eight years as Associate Concertmaster for Céline Dion. Her extensive credits include performances with Andrea Bocelli, Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett, and Imagine Dragons, as well as appearances on the Grammys, Billboard Music Awards, and National Public Radio. Whether performing the Shostakovich Violin Concerto or collaborating with global pop icons, the Las Vegas Review-Journal notes she performs "not only impeccably but with an exuberant sense of joy."

Deeply committed to the next generation of artists, De Ann is a recipient of the "Woman of Distinction Award in the Performing Arts" and a Congressional Certificate of Achievement for her dedication to youth and the arts. Her unique teaching philosophy, born from her own rapid rise as a young artist, has guided students into prestigious institutions such as Juilliard, Colburn, and USC. Through her "Ted Talk" style presentations on perseverance and goal-setting, she continues to inspire students across the country to find success both on and off the concert stage.
